Calixto Garcia-Abid, Ph.D. (center in the <- picture) is the president of Community Technological Institute of Miami. Dr. Garcia is a licensed clinical psychologist in the State of Florida. Prior to coming to Community Technological Institute of Miami, he was the Associate Director of Florida International University, Counseling and Psychological Service Center and kept a private practice in North Miami, where he worked as a general practitioner. Dr. Garcia has been a lecturer and speaker at many state and national conferences on crisis intervention, behavioral medicine, neuropsychology, Cognitive Reflex therapy (which he founded), biculturalism, gerontology and education. Dr. Garcia was the founder of the Student Counseling Center's Biofeedback Lab at Florida International University. He has over 20 years of experience teaching at various level of academia and has worked as a professor in many of the local universities.
Dr. Evelyn Jordan MSW, LCSW, ACSW,JD
Dr. Jordan is a licensed clinical social worker. She is also director of Bon Secours-Project Good Help. Ms. Jordan is a renown national speaker in the fields of mental health, gerontology, Cognitive Reflex Therapy, biculturalism and volunteerism.
